Do you really verify that material has been copywritten prior to broadcast.

The answer to this is yes and no. Any material GMEG program directors receive should be copyright protected in order to be considered for broadcast. All pertinant copyright information should be included with your submission so that your claim can be verified. All non copyright protect  material will be rejected for normal rotation.

Those who purchase half hour blocks of time sign a number of waivers that release GMEG Radio and its parent company Genese Music and Entertainment Group LLC from any and all liabilty related to copyright infringement. During the half hour blocks of time the purchasing party assumes all responsibilty for royalty payments with regards to sample clearances, broadcast material, and talent fees. GMEG Radio only assumes reponsibilty to ensuring the program airs according to the agreement between the purchasor and GMEG Radio.
